Temperature Probe Systems

By providing a fully automatic measurement of the part temperature at any stage of the machining process (patented), the temperature probe enables manufacturing processes to be controlled and machining parameters to be adjusted during production. Interference-free signal transmission between probe and receiver is absolutely vital for process-reliable measuring on machine tools. When using infrared light transmission, HDR technology (High Data Rate) developed by m&h and adjustable transmitting power guarantee process reliability. When using radio-wave transmission, the use of a high-penetration frequency range as well as the SCS technology (Self Channel Select) developed by m&h ensure interference-free function with a broad transmission range. Thus, a consistently high manufacturing quality and highest process reliability are achieved.
Temperature Probe IRTP25.44

For use with both horizontal and vertical machining centers, the IRTP25.44 temperature probe is used to boost process stability and improve manufacturing quality. By providing a fully automatic measurement of the part temperature at any stage of the machining process (patented), the IRTP25.44 enables manufacturing processes to be controlled and machining parameters adjusted during production. Temperature-dependent parameters can now be reliably identified, allowing action to be taken before affecting further machining stages and tolerances. Consistently high manufacturing quality is the ensured result.

Temperature Probe RWTP20.44
» more
The temperature probe RWTP20.44 is intended for use on large machining centres and 5-axis machines when infrared transmission is not sufficient. It acquires, fully automatically, the part temperature before and during the machining (patented). This enables improved control of the production process and tuning of machining parameters during ongoing production. Temperature-dependent parameters can thus be determined with certainty before the part is taken to the next machining step with a tolerance specification, ensuring a uniformly high manufacturing quality.
